The Laver: Washed to Carry
Aug 2, 2026 • Pastor Kevin P. Horath
Before the priest could enter God's presence, he had to stop at the laver. It wasn't optional—it was preparation.
On this Baptism Sunday, we'll discover why the bronze wash basin stood between the altar and the Holy Place, why it was made from mirrors, and what it teaches us about baptism, holiness, and carrying the presence of God. The altar brought forgiveness, but the laver prepared God's people for service.
Join us as we continue our journey through the Tabernacle and discover that God doesn't simply save us—He washes us, transforms us, and prepares us to carry His glory into the world.
